How to remove your Google account from your Android tablet
You may wish to take a backup of your data before you follow these instructions. Click here to see how to backup your data to your Google account.
From the home screen, drag down from the top edge of the screen to open the notification page.
Tap the ‘gear’ icon in the top right corner of the screen. This will open the settings menu.
Scroll down in the menus to find ‘Accounts and backup’.
Tap on ‘Accounts and backup’ to open the menu.
Tap on ‘Accounts’ to open the list of signed in accounts.
Find the account you wish to remove, tap on it to open.
Tap on ‘Remove accont’
You will be asked to confirm you wish to remove the account.
You may be asked to enter the account password and/or your phone password for security reasons. Returning to the account list the account will no longer be visable.
