How to reconnect to WiFi (Windows 10)

From the desktop, select the button on the right side of the task bar to open quick settings

Click “Network”, if you cannot see the option you may need to click “Expand” first

Check “Flight mode” is disabled and that “Wi-Fi” is turned on

Shown now is a list of nearby Wi-Fi networks. If you are unable to find yours, contact your internet service provider for help

Click on the network you want to join, you can change if you connect automatically but by default this is on. Click “connect” to join the network

If the network has a password you will now be prompted to enter it here, this is commonly found on the wireless router

If required, enter the password and click “next”

You will be presented with an option to allow you device to be “discoverable”, if you are using a public network click “no”. If you’re on a network you trust it is recommended you click “yes”

Confirm you are now connected to the network, you should see a “wireless” icon near the clock on the taskbar. If you are connected but unable to access the internet, contact your internet service provider
